No Churn Choco Vegan Ice Cream

As you know, we have a serious commitment to making vegan things delicious and easy! We also try to make most things from scratch, be as healthy as possible, and cook with mostly all-natural ingredients. This is an easy one to make at home and perfect for a hot summer day – chocolatey, refreshingly cold and creamy on the tongue.

  • 500g ripe bananas, sliced, frozen
  • 100g dates, pitted, soaked
  • 50-100g water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 60g almond butter
  • 60g raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tsp flaked sea salt
  1. Slice and freeze bananas and soak pitted dates overnight.
  2. In processor or blender, blend dates, vanilla, butter, cacao, salt and water as needed until creamy paste formed.
  3. Blend bananas until smooth and add paste.
  4. Serve immediately for soft serve texture.  Or, freeze min 4 hours for firm ice cream.
